Kent County Council (KCC) is currently consulting on proposals to install Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras overlooking yellow box junctions in Ashford, Canterbury, Dartford, Dover, Maidstone and Thanet. The aim is to deter drivers from illegally stopping in the yellow box junctions causing congestion and delays for drivers, bus passengers, and local residents.
