Kent residents targeted by Royal Mail delivery scam
We have received further reports of residents in Kent being targeted by emails claiming to be from Royal Mail.
What happens:
- You receive an email claiming to be from Royal Mail.
- The email states a parcel is on the way and a shipping fee needs to be paid.
- You are directed to a link to pay now.
What to do:
- This is a scam.
- Do not click on any links.
- Forward the email to report@phishing.gov.uk and delete the email.
- If you have fallen for this scam, contact Citizens Advice on 0808 250 5050.
